As someone who lives with learning disabilities, she is a passionate advocate for children facing similar challenges. Her personal journey—marked by resilience, strategy, and success—is a guiding light for others, proving that obstacles can be overcome with the right support and mindset. Her advocacy is grounded in her family’s own experiences. This has shaped her belief in the power of support, education, and self-belief.
Chrizmie’s hobbies reflect her dynamic and balanced lifestyle: she finds joy in modeling, fashion, cheerleading, reading, and maintaining a regular gym routine to stay mentally focused and physically healthy. Her compassionate heart and deep sense of purpose were nurtured from an early age in a family that believes in giving back—making charity work and helping others a natural part of who she is. Looking ahead, Chrizmie dreams of becoming an international model while pursuing a degree in psychology, with the goal of helping children with learning disabilities navigate their paths to success. Her advocacy for youth development is not just limited to her peers—it extends to educating and empowering parents, teachers, and communities. My Mission
My affirmation project, Brain Bloom exists to spark a global awakening — a movement of hope, empowerment, and new beginnings for individuals with learning disabilities, and those who walk alongside them. Our mission is to help the world see the beauty, strength, and potential within learning differences — not as limitations, but as extraordinary paths to greatness. Through firsthand experience, real-life insight, and authentic experiences, Brain Bloom serves as a trusted global hub of knowledge and guidance — where parents, teachers, learners, and allies can come to understand, connect, and grow. To provide access to information. Rooted in my personal journey with ADHD, severe dyslexia, and dyscalculia, this platform was built to amplify the voices often left unheard — and to share a powerful truth: we don’t need fixing — we need understanding. My mission is to:

my vision
A Global Vision for Understanding, Empathy, and Empowerment in Learning Differences
As Miss Teen Universe South Africa, I am deeply honoured to use my platform to lead a global movement of hope, awareness, and transformation — not only for teens or individuals with learning disabilities, but for everyone around them: parents, teachers, siblings, and friends. Growing up in a family of passionate advocates, also living with learning disabilities, I’ve lived both the painful challenges and experienced the proudest successes of navigating life with severe dyslexia, ADHD, and dyscalculia. From those experiences, my vision was born: To create lasting, positive change — not just in South Africa, but across the world. Today, more than 1 in 5 children globally are diagnosed with a learning or attention difficulty like dyslexia, ADHD, or dyscalculia. These are not rare — but they are still misunderstood, mislabelled, and too often unaccepted. When a child is diagnosed, no manual is handed to their parents or teachers. There is little guidance, and even less understanding of how to truly support them. Learning disabilities are invisible — and that makes them hard to fully understand. But just like we would never expect a child in a wheelchair to stand up and join a rugby game during school practice, we cannot expect children with invisible challenges to succeed without proper support, empathy, and knowledge. And that’s where I step in. My mission is to change that. Through this platform, I aim to bridge the gap — not with theory, but with practical insight and lived experience. I know I may never be able to walk into every classroom or speak in every home — but I can create a space that reaches people everywhere. I want to help parents, educators, and communities truly understand what it feels like to live with a learning disability, so that we can shift the story:
- From frustration to empathy
- From confusion to clarity
- From seeing deficits to discovering unique strengths
- To share my story and real, accessible knowledge
- To help families and teachers understand and embrace learning differences
- To shift focus from what we can’t do, to what we uniquely offer
- To prove that our greatest challenges often carry our greatest potential
Always remember
We are not less. We are the brilliant minds of tomorrow. We don’t need to fit into the world - we’re here to reshape it.
